- If you were raising funds for both Hospices, please make cheques payable to Leeds Hospices and post it in to either of the Hospices.

If you were raising money for Wheatfields Hospice, please make cheques payable to Sue Ryder Care Wheatfields and post it into Wheatfields Hospice, Grove Road, Headingley, Leeds, LS6 2AE

If you have been raising sponsorship online this will automatically be directed to our funds but remember you can still encourage people to sponsor you after the event!
Let everyone know that you have completed your challenge or taken part in your event and are now collecting sponsorship. Use your sponsor forms to keep a record of who has paid and who hasn’t.
Don’t stop asking for sponsorship after the event. Tell everyone how it went and show them a photo of you taking part in the event. This will mean that those who have not yet sponsored you no longer have any excuse not to do so.
If your sponsors have given you a cheque or CAF voucher payable to the Hospice, it’s best that we receive it as soon as possible. CAF vouchers are only valid for 6 months and cheques may not be cashed if they are presented more than 3 months after they have been written. It could also be a nasty surprise for your sponsor if a cheque written and forgotten weeks ago is suddenly cashed unexpectedly!
If you send your money in the post, please include a covering note with your personal details and mark your envelope for the attention of the Fundraising Department. This helps us to record your donation correctly and send you an acknowledgement as soon as possible.
Most banks will provide you with a presentation cheque, and we will be happy to take a photo when you present it, if you would like us to. Please contact us to arrange this if you wish.
