Leeds Hospices |
Plant a tree and mark a special occasion that will create a woodland for future generations.
A tree planted in the Leeds Hospices Woodland, Temple Newsam, will not only provide necessary funds for both Hospices, but will also help reduce the effects of pollution, provide homes and food for wildlife and a place to visit with beautiful scenery for generations to come.
The Leeds Hospices Woodland will flourish on land provided by Leeds City Council Parks and Countryside Division.
The new woodland will be situated on the Temple Newsam Estate, on the southern slopes of Dog Kennel Hill, overlooking the Lower Aire Valley. Trees are planted from November to February each year. The site is served by a network of well surfaced footpaths and trails that link it to Temple Newsam House and the main car parks. Planting will be tailored to contributions received.
A donation of £25 will provide vital funds to both Hospices
