Hi! I'm 37, married with two children aged 7 and 5 (my husband thinks I've lost my mind), I work part time and run a small business from home.
So, why am I doing the Leeds Hospices Midnight Walk? Well ...it's a bit off the wall, I like a challenge, I'm more of a night person than a day person and I enjoy walking (but not sure about 13 miles).
Thankfully I've never had any personal reason to really see St Gemma's or Wheatfields' work but I've attended a few of St Gemma's events as a trader and I've seen some of the hard work that the Fundraisers put in so I guess that's the reason I'm doing it. It really opened my eyes when I read some of the Hospices' literature and realised just how much fundraising the hospices rely on.
