I’ve just turned 40 and I live in Woodlesford with my husband Mike and our two children Daniel and Caitlin.
I love to keep fit and exercise and I took part in the walk last year as I thought it sounded different but fun. We loved it! We’re hoping to beat our time this year - think we were around the 4 hour mark last year.
Thankfully to date I have no direct experience of having family or friends in a hospice but my Dad was very poorly with cancer two years ago. He was successfully treated and has just had his latest 3 month check up (all clear) but it did bring the whole subject of cancer closer to home.
