There was no underlying reason that we decided to do it. My
Grandfather passed away this time last year and before his passing had stayed in Wheatfield's prior to moving to Owlet Hall.
We both feel that the Leeds Hospices provide an irreplaceable ongoing support for those suffering with terminal illness, and their families
and wanted to do our bit to support a fantastic cause.
Neither of us are particularly fitness mad, and where as Janine can make it to the top of a hill without wheezing, I have to stop
halfway.
We also didn't realise how far 13 mile was until we drove the route.
Our partners don't reckon we can do it, which has made us even more
determined and we welcome any support. We would encourage our mates to come along and cheer us on on the night.
