Leeds
is my home, even when I went abroad to work I came home to Leeds. I went
to school at St. John Bosco ( now Cardinal Heenan High School). After
attending Thomas Danby College on a 'pre-nursing' nursing course, I went
to Harrogate for my general
nursing and on to Newcastle Tyne and Wear for my midwifery training. I
have worked as a nurse and midwife in England, Middle East and USA.
I'm
a governor at a local primary school, also a member of my area residents
association and a member of my churches pastoral council which keeps me
busy.
Then
I have my dog, cat and two fishes to take care of.
I
have worked as a practice nurse in Bramley Leeds for the past five years,
during this time I have had a lot of contact with families and patients
who have had support, comfort and care from both hospices.
Now
it is time to give my support to them....
